ICAR-NAARM celebrated 3rd Graduation Ceremony for PGDMA

       The Academy organised 3rd Graduation Ceremony for awarding the diploma certificate for the students of Post Graduate Diploma in Management- Agriculture (PGDMA) and those of Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Management in Agriculture (PGDTMA). During the ceremony, 17 students of PGDMA 2015-17 batch, 28 students of PGDMA 2016-18 batch and 1 student of PGDTMA 2016 batch received the Diploma certificate in person. Total 10 students were awarded certificate in absentia. Two students from each batch of PGDMA were also given Gold and Silver medals for the best academic performance. About 50 PGDMA Alumni also attended the ceremony and in the afternoon, had their Alumni Meet Reunirse’18.

Sh. V Vijay Kumar, MD & CEO, National Commodity & Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) was the Chief Guest. In his Graduation Ceremony address, he emphasised on the team work and said that no matter how intelligent individually we are, unless we learn to work together for the organisational and societal goal, we can’t create credible impact. The Guest of Honour Sh. KS Raju, Chairman, Nagarjuna Group advised the young students to be prepared to accept different kind of challenges, for which they need to think out of box.

Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, NAARM informed the students and audience that the Academy is transforming towards leadership role in policy guidance in all spheres of agriculture research management. Agribusiness being the pivot elements in accelerating the income of the farmers, all the young students should serve the country with their full energy and compassionately.
