ICAR-NAARM Organized Training on ‘e-Office’

ICAR-NAARM conducted a 3-day hands-on training on ‘e-Office File Management System (e-file)’ in collaboration with e-Office Support Team of ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi during 5 to 7 December 2019. The academy invited all Master Trainers, Local Administrators and Nodal Officers from all ICAR institutes situated at Hyderabad and IIOPR, Pedavegi (Andhra Pradesh). A total of 10 ICAR institutes including ICAR-NAARM participated in the training event. A total of 83 master trainers and local admins from 10 institutes participated on 1st day of training. Institute-wise participant details are: NAARM (17), CRIDA (5), IIOR(12), IIRR (9), IIMR (7), NRCM (6), DPR (10), ATARI Hyderabad (7), NBPGR, Hyderabad (4) and IIOPR (6). The training schedule was jointly prepared by NAARM & IASRI with Mr. C. Muralidharan, JDAR, Mr. Rajukumar, TO, NAARM and Mr. Rakesh Kumar Saini, CTO, IASRI as Coordinators.

Dr. Y.S. Murty, Senior Technical Director, National Informatics Centre, Telangana State Centre, Hyderabad was the Chief Guest of inaugural event and delivered the key note address. Dr. S.K. Soam, Director (I/c), NAARM preside over the event. Mr. Rakesh Kumar Saini gave a brief introduction about e-Office and explained its role in day to day office activities.

The training schedule consisted of briefing sessions on overview of e-Office followed by demo sessions.  Hands on experimental learning then followed in computer labs to provide personalized experiential learning on e-Office and e-File.

The practical session for all local ‘master trainers’ and ‘local admins’ was conducted soon after the lunch on 1st day. On 2nd day, regular users of Administration and Finance of ICAR-NAARM were trained. On 3rd day all scientists and technical staff of ICAR-NAARM have been trained.

The academy was also organized a follow-up technical session on 9December 2019 for institutes who are facing some issues in creating the EMD (Employee Master Data). CRIDA and ATARI attended the follow up session on 9th December.

A total 126 participants have been trained during 3 days period.
