NAARM 44th Foundation Day Celebrations on 1st September, 2019
ICAR-NAARM is going to celebrate 44th Foundation Day on 1st September 2019. Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Secretary, DARE and Director General, ICAR, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India will be the Chief Guest, and will deliver the foundation day lecture. Shri Yadlapalli Venkateswara Rao, Padma Shri Awardee-2019, and Editor, Rythunestham (popular Agricultural Telugu Monthly Magazine), will be the Guest of Honor. On this auspicious occasion, the Chief Guest would release NAARM academic publications like “Inspire, Innovate and Change – Field Innovations of Farmer FIRST Project”. This momentous occasion will also mark the felicitation of Innovative Farmers from different states in recognition of their meritorious contributions for the sustainable and innovative agricultural practices. The Academy will honour its best employees with NAARM Awards under different categories which includes Scientific, Technical, Administrative, Skilled Support Staff and Casual Labour with Temporary Status for their persistent performance and outstanding contributions.
On the occasion, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, NAARM will brief the gathering about the achievements of the Academy. Dr. S. K. Soam, Joint Director, NAARM will introduce of the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor. Dr. Bharat S. Sontakki, Head, XSM Division will propose vote of thanks.
