NAARM Staff sensitized on Government e-Market (GeM)

Government of India has launched a one stop Government e-Market (GeM) Place, which is hosted by DGS&D for procuring common user goods and services. GeM is dynamic, self-sustaining and user friendly portal for making procurement by Government officers.

The Academy organized a special lecture on the utility of GeM on 18th March 2017 at its campus. Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj, Senior Scientist, Division of Computer Applications and Nodal Officer, GeM, ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi) gave a lecture on “Rules and Procedures governing Government E-Market implementation in ICAR institutes”. She demonstrated the application and utility of the portal to the staff members and clarified their doubts on various issues related to purchase through GeM.
