| Core Contents | In any practical research problem, several variables are considered. Exploring the relationships forms an important component of data analysis. Several multivariate techniques are available. The course would cover basic and advanced multivariate techniques which are useful for agricultural researchers. Some of the topics to be covered are: Multivariate Regression Analysis, Logistic Regression, Principal Component Analysis, Factor Analysis, Discriminant Functions, Multivariate Analysis of Variance, Cluster Analysis, Partial Least Squares Regression etc.
There are several Multivariate techniques available that can be used by agricultural scientists. The training programme will be focusing on some of these techniques using R.
